Why Give Through Your IRA?

A Qualified Charitable Distribution offers several potential benefits:

  • Support a cause that matters: Help RAM-Global fund malaria prevention and control projects in communities that need them most.
  • Potential tax savings: An eligible QCD is generally excluded from your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.
  • Satisfy your RMD: If you are required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an eligible QCD can count toward all or part of that requirement.
  • Make a lasting tribute: Give in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.

How to Make Your IRA Charitable Gift

Step 1 – Notify RAM-Global

Complete our short IRA Charitable Gift Intention Form to let us know about your planned donation. This helps us identify your gift when it arrives, acknowledge your generosity, and honor any special dedication.

Submitting this form does not initiate a donation or authorize the withdrawal of funds.

Step 2 – Contact Your IRA Custodian

Ask your IRA custodian or financial advisor to arrange a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly to RAM-Global.

Provide the following charitable organization information:

Legal Name: Rotarians Against Malaria-Global Rotary Action Group
Tax ID (EIN): 99-3844987
Address: 311 N. Main St., Suite 300, Carbondale, CO 81623
Tax Status: U.S. 501(c)(3) Public Charity

The distribution must be made directly from your IRA custodian to RAM-Global to qualify as a QCD.

For electronic transfer instructions, please contact RAM-Global directly.

Step 3 – Make an Impact

Once your donation is received and identified, RAM-Global will send you a charitable gift acknowledgment.

Your generosity will help support the fight against malaria and improve lives in vulnerable communities.

Planning a gift of $25,000 or more? Please contact RAM-Global before initiating the transfer so we can coordinate the arrangements.

Give in Honor or Memory of Someone Special

Make your generosity even more meaningful by dedicating your gift to someone important in your life.

You may choose to give:

  • In memory of a loved one.
  • In honor of a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.
  • In recognition of someone who has made a difference in your life.

When completing the Gift Intention Form, simply indicate your dedication. If requested, RAM-Global can send an acknowledgment to the person or family you wish to recognize, without disclosing the donation amount.

A gift that honors someone special can also bring hope and healthier futures to communities affected by malaria.
